Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Who we are…

My name is Hannah Martelli, our family has owned and loved cavaliers for many years. We have fallen in love with the breed and slowly started the process of breeding. Our dogs are our pets, we love them and they live in our house with us. They go on vacations and adventures with us and are an integral part of our life. Growing up on a farm we had many animals and have always had a profound love of animals, especially dogs. After getting our first Cavalier we were struck by just how compassionate, loving, and wonderful these dogs are. Our love for the Cavalier breed has only grown and we started breeding because we want to help share them with other people.

What we are doing as breeders…

Our puppies are raised in our home and we love and handle them from day one. They are currently taking center-stage in our lives and are being taken care of and worked with extensively so that we can pass on the best Cavaliers possible. We strive to raise our puppies in a way that will help them and their new owner to have the best lives possible. We raise our puppies following the Puppy Culture method. We feel that this a great way to help puppies turn into well adjusted, well rounded dogs. With Puppy Culture we start working on a number of different concepts including basic potty training, basic obedience, socialization, and many other important concepts. We start working with your puppy with a clicker to help with training and to open a line of communication between you and your new puppy. We work with puppies from early on to help with things like separation anxiety and to learn to share food. Cavaliers as puppies are smaller and more fragile so we will send puppies to their new homes at 10 week old. This also ensures that they have more time with mom and the other dogs to help to teach them important social skills. Puppies will be wormed and have all their available shots. You will receive a record of this when you come to pick up your puppy along with some other resources to help set you up for a successful companionship. We are not commercial dog breeders, your future puppy is being hand raised and could not receive better care.

Our dogs…

We currently own four wonderful cavaliers. Each one of them is different and with their own unique personality. Our oldest is Sherlock who is 7 year old. He was our first cavalier and he began our journey with this breed. He is very mellow and a classic couch potato. Our current mom is River, she is 5 and is a lover of adventures. River is up for anything at any time, whether hiking, meeting new dogs and people, or hanging out and taking long naps. River has a wonderful personality and is faithfully happy. Our other female is Luna, our Ruby, she is a year and a half old and loves to snuggle and be as close to you as possible. Our youngest is Remi, he is under a year old and the future breeding pair with Luna. He is also a mellow boy and is happy to hang out with you wherever, whether that be the couch or a hike. Our dogs are happy, friendly and fun.
